DVD 157: Ghost Light

The Doctor and Ace land in England, 1883. They enter the home of Josiah Samuel Smith, who is in fact an alien. He is evolving into a Victorian-age human, and he has plans to use Redvers Fenn-Cooper, an explorer gone mad, to kill Queen Vitctoria. Other aliens are present as well, their starship lying beneath the house accessible through the basement. There Ace unintentionally releases Light, the alien who owns the ship and was sent to the earth millions of years ago to catalog the life forms on the planet. Now, however, he finds that his catalog is out of date. Maddened by this, he desires to destroy all life on earth.
