We have been able to get this function with a bluetooth dongle and a desktop computer by connecting the device as an audio device. As the correct tones are sent to the K9, it will respond accordingly.

Touch Tone Information: (1) Forward, (2) Backward, (3) Left, (4) Right, (0) Stop.

The K9 voice features operate via app-to-speaker (the app contains voice clips which play over the K9 speakers).
