SURVIVORS
Survivors is a post-apocalyptic science fiction series created by Terry Nation, best known for his work on Doctor Who and Blake’s 7. Originally broadcast by the BBC, the story explores a world devastated by a rapidly spreading global plague that wipes out the vast majority of the human population.
The narrative follows the few remaining survivors as they struggle to rebuild society from the ruins of the old world. With governments collapsed, infrastructure gone, and technology largely unusable, small groups of survivors must navigate a dangerous new reality where cooperation, conflict, and survival instincts shape the future of humanity.
The Big Finish audio dramas continue and expand this universe, revisiting familiar characters and introducing new groups of survivors as they attempt to build fragile communities in a world permanently changed by catastrophe.
These stories focus on human resilience, moral choices, and the rebuilding of civilisation in the aftermath of global collapse.
