Doctor Who marked its one hundredth story with a tale that was a heady mix of gothic horror and science fiction. The Stones of Blood formed the third part of The Key to Time season, first broadcast in 1978.
In celebration of the serial’s fortieth anniversary, members of the cast and crew reunite to share their memories and experiences of working on the show in five new commentaries, including an alternative track for episode three.
Moderated by actor, comedian and cult television enthusiast Toby Hadoke, this release features John Leeson (K9), Susan Engel (Vivien Fay), Nicholas McArdle (De Vries), Shirin Taylor (Camper), Carolyn Montagu (Production Assistant) and Darrol Blake (Director).
These CDs can be enjoyed on their own or played in conjunction with the official BBC DVD release.
